ITC  and  NHPC added Open Interest in February series.Huge position was build up at  ADANI POWER  February  call  Option Strike Price 25.Good build up was also seen at  VEDL  February  call  Option Strike Price  65.


Strategy  for Futures Option players


(1)  DABUR (247.80)   Future-Lot Size 2000 shares.

Buy One Lot  February  Future  @ 247.80  Rs.
Sell One Call Option February  strike price 250.00@ 3.15 Rs
Premium Received= 3.15*2000=  6300.00 Rs
Maximum Profit=  250.00– 247.80 = 2.2*2000= 4400 + 6300 = 10700.00 Rs.
Max Loss=Unlimited.


(2) IDEA (109.65) LOT SIZE 3000 shares
Buy  One Call Option of   February  Strike Price 105.00@5.70 Rs.
Sell  One Call Option of   February  Strike Price  110.00@ 3.30 Rs.
Premium Paid = 5.7*3000 = 17100.00 Rs.
Premium Received= 3.3*3000 = 9900.00 Rs.
Net Premium Paid= 17100 – 9900 = 7200.00 Rs.
Maximum Profit = 110.00 – 105.00 = 5*3000= 15000.00 – 7200.00 =  7800.00 Rs.
Maximum Loss= 7200.00 Rs.
Break Even=  107.40
