BSE Sensex (24121.74)  and NSE Nifty(7203) closed  up  by 4.9% and 5% respectively  last week.Nifty Future May was quoting at  41 points premium.Nifty call option May  7500 was very active.Support for Sensex is at  22960 and Nifty at 6850. Resistance for Sensex is at 25320 and Nifty at 7550.


NTPC   and  HDFC BANK  added Open Interest in May  series.Huge position was build up at SSLT  May  Call Option Strike Price 240.Good build up was also seen at  DLF May Call  Option Strike Price 175.

(1)ICICI BANK(1474.65)   Future-Lot Size 250 shares.
Buy One Lot   MAY  Future  @1474.65 Rs
Sell One Call Option of  MAY  Strike Price 1500@ Rs.34.75
Premium Received=34.75*250= 8687.50 Rs
Maximum Profit=1500– 1474.65 = 25.35*250= 6337.50 + 8687.50 = 15025.00 Rs.
Max Loss=Unlimited.


(2) HIND PETRO (404.55) LOT SIZE 1000 shares
Buy  One Call Option of   MAY Strike Price 400@ 18.80 Rs.
Sell  One Call Option of   MAY Strike Price 420@ 10.35 Rs.
Premium Paid = 18.8*1000= 18800.00 Rs.
Premium Received=10.35*1000= 10350.00 Rs.
Net Premium Paid= 18800-10350=8450.00 Rs.
Maximum Profit = 420-400=20*1000=20000.00 – 8450.00= 11550.00 Rs.
Maximum Loss= 8450.00 Rs.
Break Even= 408.45
