RBI and FOMC meet scheduled on 30 and 31 July 2013

BSE Sensex (19748.19)   and Nifty (5886.20) closed  down  by  2 % and  2.4 % respectively last week.Nifty Future August was quoting at  40.65  points premium.Nifty Call option August  6000 was very active.Support for Sensex is at  19500.Resistance for Sensex is at 20160. Support for Nifty is at 5800 and resistance at 6020.

ITC  and  IDEA  added Open Interest in AUGUST series.Huge position was build up at  SBI AUGUST Call Option Strike Price 1900.Good build up was also seen at  HIND LEVER  Call August  Option Strike Price 700.

(1) INFY (2913.30) lot size 125 shares                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Buy One Call Option of  AUGUST Strike Price 2900@ 97.10 Rs

Sell One Call Option of  AUGUST Strike Price 3000@ 52.00 Rs.

Premium .Paid= 97.10*125 = 12137.50 Rs.

Premium Received= 52*125 =  6500.00 Rs.

Net Premium Paid= 12137.50 – 6500 = 5637.50 Rs.

Maximum Profit= 3000-2900= 100*125 = 12500 – 5637.50= 6862.50 Rs.

 Maximum Loss=  5637.50 Rs.

Break Even = 2945.10

(2) SUN PHARMA (1125)   Future-Lot Size 250 shares.

Buy One Lot  AUGUST  Future  @ 1125 Rs

Sell One Call Option of  AUGUST Strike Price 1140@ 36.50 Rs.

Premium Received= 36.50*250 = 9125.00 Rs

Maximum Profit= 1140-1125 = 15*250 = 3750.00 + 9125.00 = 12875.00 Rs.

Max Loss=Unlimited.
