FEDERAL BANK  and  PFC added Open Interest in MAY series.Huge position was build up at  BOB MAY put Option Strike Price 150.00.Good build up was also seen at  IDFC MAY  call  Option Strike Price  55.00.


Strategy  for Futures Option players


(1)  POWER GRID (144.85)   Future-Lot Size 4000 shares.

Buy One Lot  MAY  Future  @ 144.85 Rs.
Sell One Call Option MAY strike price 145 @  2.20 Rs
Premium Received = 2.20*4000  =  8800.00 Rs
Maximum Profit=   145.00  – 144.85 = 0.15*4000  =  600.00 + 8800  =   9400.00 Rs.
Max Loss=Unlimited.


(2) SOUTHBANK (18.65) LOT SIZE  22000 shares
Buy  One Call Option of   MAY  Strike Price  17.50.00@ 1.25 Rs.
Sell  One Call Option of   MAY  Strike Price  20.00@ 0.20 Rs.
Premium Paid = 1.25*22000  = 27500.00 Rs.
Premium Received =  0.20*22000 = 4400.00 Rs.
Net Premium Paid = 27500.00 – 4400.00  = 23100.00 Rs.
Maximum Profit = 20.00 – 17.50.00 = 2.50*22000= 55100.00 – 23100.00 =  31900.00 Rs.
Maximum Loss = 23100.00 Rs.
Break Even =  18.55
